On 19th April, 2015, The Cochin Royal Historical and Heritage Society released its website.  The inaugaral event , held at Kaliotta Palace, was started by a prayer by Sudarshana Thampuran.  Chief guest was Mr M.K Narayanan, former National Security Advisor to the Government of India, and former Governor of West Bengal.  Felicitations were given by Hon. Minister K. Babu, who hails from Tripunithura and the Tripunithura Municipal Chairman, Mr. Venugopal.  

Dr Kocha Varma, the founder member of the Society  was introduced by his daughter, Kavitha Varma White of Seattle.  The event concluded by a small concert by the  famous singer, Mr P Jayachandran, a member of the Family.
