Ammathampuran Kovilakam is the heritage building in Tripunithura where the matrilineal Cochin Royal Family made their first home.  It is over 200 years old, and is situated close to the Tripunithura Poornathreyesa Temple, and the Kaliiotta Palace built during the Dutch period.   From this audio-visual presentation, one gets a glimpse of the private ritualistic and traditional life style of the family that continues to this day.
